For one, this RP is Final Fantasy VII-verse... ...Twenty years after Advent Children. I normally don't RP next gen, but the opportunity to play Marlene and Denzel as adults pulled at me. So I apped them and got in, and everything was good. HOWEVER, you seem to be lost or didn't read that this is twenty years later.
Marlene is not a little girl. She's a twenty-six-year-old woman. Denzel is a twenty-eight-year-old man. They aren't little kids, and you should probably listen to them when they say the ruins of the old ShinRa building are a horrible place to go for anything. Because of what happened in Dirge of Cerberus, it's a wonder it hasn't collapsed. They tell you this, and you go bashing into the ruins with your sword--making it even more unstable and dismissing them as kids telling wild tales.
I would get this if you were, you know, much older than them. But according to your profile, you're YOUNGER than them. You're younger than Marlene by about a year.
Then. THEN. I didn't say I had writer's block. I said that you had confused me so thoroughly by your lack of actually responding to my characters but by your own odd views of my characters. You tell me you're going ahead. This isn't cool, and makes you look like a douche. I don't have writer's block--there's just no way for me to respond to your mess calling them little kids and treating this like it's still twenty years prior.
Also, I don't see how the old ShinRa facility has power after TWENTY YEARS. They don't need it. It's been so thoroughly destroyed by Meteor, Advent Children and Dirge of Cerberus that ShinRa wouldn't want anything to do wit hit. So your random attack of ShinRa soldiers in the ruins of Midgar, which likely hold NOTHING OF VALUE (not to mention if there WAS electricity, Rufus is thorough--he'd delete every bit of information on the old computer systems he could), is confusing me further and making me wonder if you read only enough to get a profile accepted or what.
Either way, it's goddamn annoying and I'm about to get my Marlene and Denzel to go elsewhere.
