You must be lost.

For one, this RP is Final Fantasy VII-verse... ...Twenty years after Advent Children. I normally don't RP next gen, but the opportunity to play Marlene and Denzel as adults pulled at me. So I apped them and got in, and everything was good. HOWEVER, you seem to be lost or didn't read that this is twenty years later ( Read more... )

research is your friend, dumbass, characterization fail

This RP concept sounds kind of neat. Can I get a link?

Also....that player fails. O_o Why would they be thinking ruins were a fantastic idea to poke around in?

I have since left it today since the owner actually sided with him on, "We don't have to follow canon!"

.....okay, that's pretty scary then. ^^;; Oh well. Not all interesting games can have good moderators.

It's spurring me to maybe make my own Next Gen FFVII.
Cloud's group needs a break, anyway, and Monster Hunters Denzel & Marlene kick ass. >>

Also, I don't see how the old ShinRa facility has power after TWENTY YEARS. They don't need it.

this is final fantasy, though. wasn't the dollet communications tower in VIII still powered and maintained after 17 years of disuse?

Actually, no, not really. It was kept somewhat neat, but in fact, Biggs and Wedge are trying to repair it when Squall's gang shows up so it can actually work.

And that's... Not in the middle of abandoned ruins that have been hit with three disasters within three years, one of which completely annihilated the building. There is literally no reason to maintain the ShinRa facility when there was plausible reason to believe that, one day, the communications tower in Dollet could possibly be used again (or at leas the town seemed to hope that). Not so much the same as with the Ruins of Midgar.

And it also doesn't explain why Rufus wouldn't promptly send a team to delete anything that could possibly be used again ShinRa--which is what this guy was after in the first place. Rufus is too THOROUGH for that. And especially finding out about Deepground... He'd probably have all data salvageable brought to him and removed completely from the computers just so he'd know more about WTF could be hidden.
