A minor dilemma...literally.

A pretty relaxing Tuesday as far as Tuesdays go, although my Comm. project group members weren't in class today; I'll have to talk to them on Thursday if we expect to get this done by next week.

Buuuuut the biggest news of the day is I met with my academic adviser, and we discussed options for my schedule next semester. I told him about my intentions to go abroad next spring, and he's been really encouraging about that, as well as supportive of my decision to major in Comm, which is great.

The minor, however, is still in flux. I had thought before about going ahead with the Astronomy option, but after hearing from him how great I was in English, both in Lit and Writing, and thinking about how much I really enjoy and do well in both areas (whereas with Astronomy it's more like a lovable hobby), I'm really torn as to where to go from here.

In addition, my parents really want me to continue with the Japanese program, but a) I don't know how it would fit in my schedule, especially since it's really built to be a yearlong class, b) I don't feel like I have a firm enough grasp of the language to proceed to the Advanced courses, and c) I think with 4 years of high school classes and what amounts to 2 at the college level, I feel like I've learned enough to be impressive on any resume, especially considering I won't be dropping the language altogether; I'll continue to watch subbed anime and enjoy J-pop karaoke.

At this point I've got so much on my plate that I need to make some decisions now or else my head may implode. D:

college, truth time, life, help!
