My dreams are pitiful. I feel so pathetic.
I dream of friends I don’t have as a thirsty man would dream of rain and the shadow of a garden in the aridity of a desert.
Since the day he lent a hand to me, since he prevented me for being beaten in the playground, my dreams turned more vivid, more painful too.
Now, I don’t dream of any friend, I dream of him, Zeke Tyler. Those dreams are tied to a horse that will never tire.
I wish Zeke would care enough to save me again. I know he doesn’t.
