crawling under a warm blanket for a while
I really like my new job. My boss isn't breathing down my neck, my co-workers are nice, the pay is great, and I feel pretty comfortable with what I'm doing. I'm working another 3 days this week but after that, I don't know. Too bad I couldn't work one or two days every week, instead of just being 'casual'.
It's been snowing like crazy all day. I practically had to dig out my van at the end of the day, and it's so cold! I actually shed a couple of tears when I got home after being out in the cold, blowing snow. I'm so tired of snow, cold, and ice. Please God, could winter be over soon?
My windshield wipers quit working and it's going to cost $350 to fix them. Since November we've already spent $1300 on repairs, over and above the usual vehicle expenses. We'll have to put on 4 new tires in the Spring, and our <1 year old windshield has cracked from side to side, the cruise control only works some of the time..... Something new and shiny with a warranty is a mighty tempting thing.
I'll be so glad when Jack is done his week of work and can have some time off. After he finishes this week of work, he'll have over 100 hours logged, in one week.
Tonight, I'm heading to a movie with some friends but first, some cuddles and reading time with the Littles, and our weekly episode of Village on a Diet.
