Three years ago from now I was in labour, my midwives were arriving, and I was excited to meet my new baby!!  I couldn't wait to hold her tiny, warm body and finally see her sweet face.  Abby's labour was painful and demanded my full attention, but none of us had any indication at all that Abby's birth would be anything but normal and uncomplicated

I went back and watched Abby's slideshow today. It *does* make me cry to see her, but I also smile. She was here, and she was alive, and she was in your arms, today, on her birth day. My heart truly wells up with joy, and with pain, when I think of her. Happy Birthday, Abby. Such a beautiful sweet baby girl.

Abby's cupcakes are in the oven as I type this and I just got a whiff of them.

I will never forget my promise to her and I will forever be grateful to you for sharing Abby with the world. She changed my life and she continues to give me that little shove I need from time to time.

Happy Birthday Abby Angel. You are very loved and you are missed every day.
