there's no place like home :-)

After three agonizing flights, I finally landed in Saskatoon and walked into Jack's arms.  We landed a litlte late and it was nearly 3 a.m. by the time we got home.  As we got out of the car we could hear Charlotte crying through our open bedroom window and very soon, all three girls were awake.  Kim brought Charlotte out into the dark living room to see me but she wouldn't come to me, and Jack put her back to bed.  Hugs and kisses all around and then Kim and Julia were sent back to bed.

Charlotte wouldn't go back to sleep so Jack finally brought her into the living room and slept with her there for a few hours, and then brought her back to bed with us in the morning.  I tucked her in beside me and asked her if she wanted milkies.  She took my nipple and then nursed with some hesitation but she wouldn't let go and she nursed for nearly an hour that first time.  She played with my fingers and I tickled her bare legs and tummy, stroked her hair, it was soooo nice to be tucked in bed with her.  She isn't as enthusiastic when she nurses as she used to be, but she definitely wants to nurse so I'm relieved.

There is stuff to unpack, laundry to wash, pictures to upload, groceries to buy, bills to pay, etc etc.  And I have only three weeks to finish all of my school work so I will be working hard day and night to finish it all.
