going going gone
Summer is quickly slipping away and I can't say that I'm sad to see it go. Although it has been a very fun, busy, and productive summer, I can't wait to move back to Kent where I can be in my element. I miss my friends, Susan's, and the simple fact that I can be my own boss. I have completed many of my summer goals which is always a plus and I feel great. Tonight as I was sitting on the couch I realized that I felt a peace. A feeling I haven't felt for a long time. And the great thing about it is that I have felt that way pretty consistently which tells me the tide is changing. God is really making changes in me and my life. I feel so blessed. I am really happy because I feel that he is opening doors for me in terms of music. Eric and I are writing more music and practicing, I did a few vocal tracks for a friend, I'm joining gospel choir in the fall,and my friends are interning at a church where they get their own worship service,and they asked Eric and I to play with them. I am so excited!
Also, I am turning the big 21 on August 9th and am planning a bash around the 13th. All I can say is Evan you will finally get your dance party!!!
This past weekend was great. I saw so many friends that I haven't seen in awhile. First I met with my friend Sarah for coffee until Eric got off work. Then Jenn, Nate, Mike, abra, eli, john, eric, and I went out to dinner then packed into two cars and went to the drive in movie theater. I have only been once and it was so long ago. It was a blast! $5.00 for the two of us combined for two movies! Incredible! Then Friday I overdosed on a bottle of Nyquil so I wasn't doing too hot during the day, but that night I got to chill with my dude evan and work on music. Then I saw my girls jess and sarah for awhile. What a great weekend! That is all I got for now. See ya
