My 2008 in Theatre
My 2008 in Theatre!
In 2008 i saw NINETY-ONE shows.
[If you were to count seeing the Rocky Horror Picture Show shadowcasted, the total would be one hundred.]
Twenty-nine of them were Fringe shows.
I was involved in ten (four Landless shows, three Extreme Exchanges, Good Woman of Setzuan at Constellation, Goodnight Desdemona at Foundry, and my ten-minute play in Journeymen's Fringe show Ball & Chain).
I saw three versions of Romeo and Juliet (Synetic, and then Shakespeare and Taffety Punk on the same day), Diamond Dead twice, and The Last Days of Judas Iscariot twice. Though the previous ones were not in this calendar year, I saw my third Hamlet, my second Antony and Cleopatra, my second Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are dead, Lebensraum a second time, and my second Ash Girl.
I saw the great Robert Protsky in The Price at Theater J - he passed away recently.
