Teaching Certification (Again)
This afternoon, I contacted the college again about my certification, and it seems I'm short a few transcripts. I thought I'd gotten all of those in, but those were the transcripts to get into the college, not the ones for certification (sent to Nashville). So I'm requesting those again. That's all that's left of the TN license process. Meanwhile, they're sending the letter to Ohio, saying I've passed.
I called Ohio this afternoon, too. They're still waiting for said letter, and for the results of my FBI background check, which could take up to a month longer. Both of them are nearing completion, though the Ohio guy thinks it'll take up to a month longer for the FBI to respond. The TN license may take that long, too, or longer, as they don't have enough workers issuing the licenses.
The race is on. Do I move first, or do I get the licenses first?
