So Zoey's been running a low-grade fever for the last couple of days, and we've just been letting it take its course, thinking we'd take her to the pediatrician today. No such luck.
Last night at 3 AM, Amy went to check on Zoey, who was crying in the middle of the night (a normal event), and Zoey was burning hot. 106.7. Yeah, we were out the door pretty quickly, headed for T.C. Thompson Children's, and were there for most of the night. Then we came home, I slept an hour or so, and went in to teach the art class.
Yesterday, the Olds got me to the college, but wouldn't start again. Amy picked me up, and I met Dad today to get the battery out so it could be tested. Not only would it not come out, but I stripped the positive post, and pulled the negative post completely out of the battery in the removal attempt. Yeah, maybe it's the battery that's the problem, but I'm not sure. /sarcasm
It's been a hellish 24 hours, I gotta say. But it's all more-or-less under control, I hope. I can't be sure, but I hope...
