The Chameleons have released a 25th anniversary release of Script of the Bridge.

I think I might spend some time today listening to Swans today (as opposed to Skin, which I normally listen to more).

I just tried out some interesting Flash-based tests of musical perception. The tests themselves were interesting. I found it much easier to distinguish examples taken from musical styles that I regularly listen to, particularly in the rhythm test.
The tests: tone deafness, adaptive pitch, rhythm.

Yesterday's VNV gig was pretty good. I'm not much of a VNV fan, but I had a good time. So did Ronan Harris. He was obviously glad to be back in Dublin. The sound quality was uneven though; at the front of the venue it was pretty OK, but at the back it was pretty bad. I think it must be due to the back of the room being under the blacony.
