I forgot to mention earlier we finally (yes FINALLY) started operation Drastically-Get-Rid-Of-All-Useless-Junk-That-Is-Taking-Up-Space at home over the weekend. I got Brendon up to help me sort through the two wardrobes and chuck out what we both don't need. Turns out half the crap at the bottom wasn't even shoes and most that were, were shoes he hasn't worn in years! In the bin you go! Filled up about 6 garbage bags of crap in the end and thats just the wardrobe! Hmmm methinks this could get messier. My plan of action to get our house looking amazing will go like so:
Drastically-Get-Rid-Of-All-Useless-Junk-That-Is-Taking-Up-Space
- Clean out both bedroom wardrobes
- Clean out both bathroom cupboards.
- Scrub both bathrooms from top to toe.
- Do floors in all rooms.
- Have spare room set up for company, sell unused drawers and have room actually looking nice.
- Set up outdoor area in front yard, need Brendon’s help to assign potbelly a permanent spot that works.
- Eventually buy a gazebo and move outdoors area out the back.
- Update small kitchen appliances.
- Hang indian ornaments Tracy gave us.
- Buy numerous hippy rugs from
www.etsy.com to cover parts of the floor.
- Sort out computer room (weekend thing).
- Sell big old computer desk. Expect $100 for this as is in good nick and is an actual office desk!
- Once computer room is empty move old unwanted couches in there until sold.
- Put new couch on laybuy.
- Sell old couches.
- Finish blackening all the old furniture.
Obviously this is a long term thing that will take me sometime. I will use as much of my non smoking/ motivated time this month to get this happening. Have also teed up to celebrate my successful detox by an end of month sleepover/ smoke sesh with Jessica yay!
Ok off to the post office now. Its just dawned on me that Im not smoking tonight....oh well get used to it girl, the end of month result will be worth it!
