Prom 2005.
Tomorrow.
I wonder who will show up drunk this year. I was watching Jack&Bobby this week and now I’m worried that someone will drink and drive and someone will get hurt. (remember, friends don’t let friends drive drunk!!)
I finally have everything I need. I got my hair done after school and it’s too cute. I’m just afraid that I’ll sleep on it funny and I’ll wake up looking like a squirrel on crack. The fabulous MAC people are doing my make up so that should be fun. I did a trial run of the whole look a little while ago and it’s TOO CUTE. I hope someone doesn’t spill coke all over my dress or something…
So this is my schedule for tomorrow (it’s actually not too busy)
Church 11:00-2:00
Come home and shower/get dressed
Got to the mall to get my makeup done 4:00
Meet everyone at Coolidge/Hunter Sculpture Garden 5-6
Dinner 6:30ish
PROM
Go to IHOP/Arlene’s house afterwards
After stressing all year, my AP classes are finally over. I took the AP English final on Monday. That was… interesting. The multiple choice questions weren’t too bad, but some of the reading sections were hard to understand so I didn’t get to finish. Writing was okay, but I don’t think I answered one of the prompts correctly. It was really intimidating because everyone was finished before I was and they were walking around and saying how easy it was but I was still trying to make sense of things. If I pass, I think I’d make a 3 or a 4.
I took the EOC Thursday and it was so easy that I had to laugh at some questions. Like “Martin Luther King, Malcolm X, and W.E.B. Dubois were all: a) famous soldiers in the Korean War b) presidents of the United States c) Civil Rights figures d) your mom”. lol. The test was really easy, I think I got a high Bish type score on it.
Today was the APUSH test. It wasn’t as hard as I thought it was going to be. I knew maybe 60-70% of the answers then I made a lot of intelligent/process of elimination guesses. The essays weren’t too bad. If I pass, I think I’d make a 3 or 4 on this one too.
I’m going to be pretty much done with a lot of my classes really early this year because out of my four core academic classes, two are AP and I already took the final tests for both and the other two are with seniors so those exams will be over before the end of next week. Then I’ve already had my final performances for my three arts classes.
It’s kinda weird that I’m going to be a senior next year. I got a letter in the mail from Rice University today (it was a brochure I requested), but in my mind I was pretending it was an acceptance letter and I was thinking about how amazingly cool that would be. I’m going to miss my friends when I graduate, but I’m excited about going on to bigger better things and starting my “career”.
Time to paint my toes.
