Today's #happything was just the fact that it was such a beautiful, warm, sunny day. Even though I was at work for most of it :-)

Cheating a bit, but the same #happything applied both to yesterday and today:

Clear, blue-skied, sunny, beautiful days, with daffodils out and the birds singing.

(Admittedly FREEZING, both days, but hey, you can't have everything. I'll take the sunlight and the days getting longer.)

Today's #happything, after cycling to work through a taste of Storm Imogen...

... is the fact that I have decent Altura waterproofs which kept me warm and dry even though it was blowing a gale and lashing down with rain :-)

Today's #happything: the sound of the gales outside thrashing through the trees.

I'm sure if you were on the eastern seaboard of the US a couple of days ago with it dumping snow on you, or on curiouswombat's Small Island being lashed by rain and waves, it wouldn't have been such a happy sound! But here in Oxford it didn't rain that much, just got very blowy, ( Read more... )
