Listening to the 10 pm news here in the UK, with the horrible news from Boston, and thinking of all my LJ friends in the US... I hope anyone in Boston, or who has friends or loved ones there, is safe and well. Let us know when you can.

A 5.9 earthquake on the east coast of the U.S.?  By the sound of it no major damage done, but that must have been scary.

Hope you are all keeping calm and carrying on, East Coast flisties!

I know I have people on my flist who have connections to Norway; I would just like to say that in the wake of yesterday's unbelievably dreadful events, which still have me reeling, I am thinking of you, in the absence of anything else at all that I can say or do.

Absolutely delighted about this news - victory for free speech, rationality and science over the UK's ludicrously over-eager libel courts.
