I think the best gift I got for my combined birthday-christmas, was Fergie's CD. This is probably because of the intense jam sessions it allows me to hold with my sister in my mom's van.

p.s. in real news, I miss my friends and boyfriend.

here is a bonus fact since I have been absent:

I get really irritated when I can't beat children's video games.

I forgot to post that I am now an aunt.

My neice, Cadence Amira Kuehne-Welsh (a helluva name, probably going to write textbooks)

was born this weekend, at a healthy, 7 lbs, 1 oz, and 19.5 in.

My dad says she is sweet and pleasant, and healthy.

I haven't seen her in person yet, but here she is.

hey kiddos. I'm heading back to Mondovi for a few days to see the family, go to a baby shower, etc. So, my phone won't be working, but I heart you. I'll be in Beloit/southern Wisconsin around thursday until school starts up again.

My thoughts do feel clearer here, though. There's less buzz going on, and I can feel my feelings and think my thoughts without interruption. No one needs anything from me, and I have time to work through things in my head.
