Narnia poem: "Heir" // draft //

Sep 07, 2008 22:28

Edit 10th - Sep - 08: This turned out to be a nursery rhyme. I'll take it as a draft for the real poem.

Title: "Heir"
Author: Me
Characters: nameless child
Pairing: the one you like the most, but there must be one Pevensie involved at least, or there couldn't be a heir (have in mind that it has to be het), also, take a look at the A/N before you think of Caspian/Susan or Caspian/Lucy, sorry.
Warnings: depends of the pairing you pick, so none really.
A/N: Post-Golden Age, Pre-Prince Caspian, book and movie!verse. Does it make any sense? Remember, English is not my native language, so if you see any mistake (grammar, misspelling, anything), I'm sorry.
Summary: A child's life when a whole kingdom rest upon his/hers shoulders.

One, two; bear with me
three, four; they won't take it all
five, six; 'cause I'm the Heir
of the Kings and Queens of Old.

One, two; I'll never yield
three, four; so bring it on!
five, six; 'cause I'm the Heir
and so Her last and only Hope.
