Harry Potter Drabble: "The Final Battle"
Okay, I've been reading a lot of H/Hr fic lately, all of them pumped high in angst, so I wanted to make something like hearted, and fluffy.
I hope you enjoy it. I went back to stealing prompts from dead comms.
Title: "The Final Battle"

Summary: Harry Potter is finally ready for this War to end.

Harry takes deep breaths, clutching his wand tightly in his hand. He hears a branch breaking somewhere to the left of his hiding place and steels himself for what’s to come.
Here goes nothing.
Jumping out of the bushes, his wand ready to cast the final spell, he falters and the words die in his throat at what he sees in front of him.
Nothing.
Only trees and vast amounts of snow, but his foe-
“Got you, Potter!”
He spins around quickly, but not quick enough to prevent the attack. It hits him squarely on the chest.
And he falls.

Another snowball hits his face and he can’t help but smile as he hears her laughing.
“Oh, yes, I win!”
He sits up and grins as Hermione jumps excitedly around him, basking in her victory.
“Yes, you win. Let’s go back into the castle, I’m freezing.”
As soon as he’s standing, the snowballs attack him. He growls softly and she laughs.
“Oh, come on, Harry, don’t be such a sore loser.”
Why did he agree to a snow fight again?
Hermione hugs him and pecks his lips tenderly, successfully wiping the scowl off his face.
Oh, yes, now he remembers.
