Pile of Them

Three days ago, I flew from Vic -> Seatac -> Detroit -> Columbus. I'm here with my family now for the winter holiday. I will not be able to use my index cards while I am here, but I am using a 'field book' to capture all my ideas in the meantime (much like Sugano referring to his field book as RAM) and upon my return to Victoria, I can copy each item to notecard.
Yesterday I went to a library and borrowed a book: David Allen's Getting Things Done. This is the book that made the GTD concept really take off, and Allen himself is the one responsible for coining the GTD term. I'm only up to Chapter 3 so far-- but it's really interersting and I'm learning quite a bit from it. Everything in this book is commonsense. The problem lies in that most people don't follow commonsense, or don't know how to execute it properly.
