Somehow I've managed to hurt my back. I don't know how. But, damn is it uncomfortable sitting at my desk at work. I'm sure it doesn't help that I have the worst posture, but sitting up straight isn't helping at the moment.

Sleep with a pillow under your knees. You will get used to it and it works.
Stretch your lower back as much as possible. A great excercise to keep it limber is to lie down like you are in the push-up position. Push up with your hands but keep your pelvis on the floor making your lower back arch backwards. Go all the way up but stop where/ if you feel pain (you shouldn't). Come back down to the original position. Do this 50 or so times a day. It helps a lot.
Lie on your back. Bring one knee up and wrap your arms around it. Pull it to your chest with your arms as if you are hugging your leg. Alternate between legs. Do around 20 sets for each leg.

b) If my car was 20 minute walk away in this heat,

d) It wasn't 10:45 pm, and
e) I wasn't so tired of life.
