I've been here for a year. [He sighs. It's a long story.] I don't imagine you've heard of Simultron. They create virtual reality entertainment. I was approached shortly after my arrival by the company to create a line of...well, entertainment based on historical events.

[He frowns. It is rather awkward to think of it as 'fun': Thunderwing, Arcee, Jhiaxus, any of it.]

My memories of those events, to be precise.

Downloading of memory is part of the process, an initial stage to sort through for sensory signifiers, and the like. Last night I had been [he drops his voice] beginning the download of Garrus 9.[He hopes you remember what he means.] When I arrive this morning, that data was missing.
