It's that day where everyone thinks they're funny.

A few of them are.  There are some great, well conceived, and elegantly delivered bits out on the internet today.

I don't even mind the occasional rickroll.

But for some people, today is a nightmare.  "Friends" think it's okay to pull stupid, insensitive, and just unfunny practical jokes.

I think most reasonable people understand that having a sexual kink doesn't mean it is acceptable for that person to be abused in a non-consensual way (even if their kink is based on pain or humiliation).

However, it can lead to victim-blaming.  I am wondering whether anyone has seen any of this directed towards Rihanna?

I really don't care about Charlie Sheen.  I never watched his show.  It's so surprise that he's imploding; his father did.  The only question is whether he can pull himself up out of the tailspin, with or without professional help.

That being said, I still found this amusing:

There's nothing like looking through an magazine like Art Doll Quarterly to highlight the range of artistic styles in the world.

Some things inspire me; some I look at and think, "I could do something like that, but I wouldn't want to because it's hideous!".
