weekend was super-busy. saturday, wedding shower for a couple friends and then birthday party for
satyre1369, then to
0uroborus' parent's for the night. sunday we cleaned out a moldy basement and then ran off for dinner with my family in Salem. aside from fighting over planning and our camera walking off saturday night with all my vacation shots in it, it was a pretty good weekend.
had a "nightmare" last night. i was in high school or college and it was graduation day. i'd already graduated previously, but i was going again for some reason and was up for graduating again the next year. so, everyone was saying goodbye to each other; no one i knew...nicely, i got jumped on and molested by some hot young graduates of some kind or another; reminisced with people i didn't know; it was fun. then i woke up for about 30 seconds to shut the alarm off. then i fell back asleep and was back in the dream. people were leaving the school when a giant refinery fell from the sky and crushed half the city. then i was seeing the scene from far above - people running and screaming as these things fell from the sky. it was an invasion of insects like the ones from Starship Troopers. they needed earth's resources and the people for food...made sense to me. i got swarmed, made a valiant effort with the mystical dream-handgun that always seems to appear at the right time and woke up right before i got torn apart. the most disconcerting part was how comfortable i was around strangers and how it's never really like that...meh...
