It's been a late-autumny weekend with cool temps and gusty winds tossing the fallen leaves through the air. I've spent most of the past two days here in my apartment, settling in for the winter I guess and getting the place ready for faeryshaman to move into in a couple weeks. I think with all the week's stresses I really needed some regrouping and recentering time but I'm missing Kel a great deal and it has been very lonely without her and without the distraction of my work routine.

I've moved a lot of the furniture around to better take advantage of the space and unpacked a lot of the boxes that were still piled up from my recent move. The living room is more like an studio now that I've got all my art supplies unpacked and set up there. Seeing all the paint and brushes and the like has given me something of a creative itch too, though it hasn't yet developed enough for me to know exactly what to do.

I also finished reading DeLint's "The Onion Girl" and it was incredible- by far his best novel I've read! Next I've started the copy of Gaiman's "Neverwhere" that Kel loaned me, and so far it seems very interesting.
