there's a bit of a stand-off going on in my front yard.

my thundercloud plum tree is approaching its second blooming season on our property.  today i examined its branches and it has the absolute tiniest, baby buds emerging.  across the street the lawns still have inches of snow.  it's like i can almost hear the two sides fighting with one another: ( Read more... )
