i haven't posted in forever -- just wanted to say that i'm still alive. we're reaching the part at work where the calm before the storm has passed - deadlines for major projects and events are coming up, and as a result my life is kicked into overdrive.
but, i'm still finding time for the finer things. enjoying my nikon d40 and finally took the plunge and bought a pro account on flickr so i have a proper place to archive all of my images (as shown with the photo above).
and today, i took maizy out on the deck for the first time in months. we sat together on the wooden planks and basked in the almost 70 degree weather.
i absolutely love winter - but i don't think it's possible not to feel energized by the swing of the pendulum back slowly towards spring. february loves to give you a day or two like this as a tease, but it's enough.
