Primarily refers to Harry Potter fandom, but it applies to others as well. (Sidenote: I did "write" a love video of sorts a few years ago just for the Harry Potter fandom.)

How about: A god or goddess (from any mythology) accidetally winds up trapped in a modern city. S/he still has some powers but the local police frown on smiting and s/he doesn't seem to be able to get the hang of technology.'
