I opened LJ with the intent of posting about real life and writing.

Somehow, I got distracted finding Earth Day related activities for school.

This is the life of a teacher, I suppose.

That entry will have to wait until tomorrow when I have time to think, delve, and explain.

The kids I tutor made my day.

As I was getting into my car, I looked up to see the house door opening again. (By this point, I had already said goodbye and made it down the driveway to my car.) I look up to see both of them standing at the door yelling bye to me and asking when I'll be back.

Made my day. (:

I can officially say that I am certified in early childhood and elementary education. That's grade pre-k through 6th!!!! All my hard work from the past semester paid off.

I'm back. I think. It's a trial run. We'll see if I can revisit LJ without it getting too drama filled.

Updates galore:

I know, I know. You're probably getting tired of only seeing imported blog posts on my journal. I know I am. I just don't see to have the time to fit in actual journal posts, which is a bit disappointing at times. At other times, it's a fresh relief. It's hard for me to explain why without going all whiny so I'm going to leave that comment as is.

This is what I did after helping my kids write animal stories today in school. They're loving this project I've started with them. We're only doing it on Fridays and they look forward to it each week. I love that the teacher I'm working with gives me freedom.
