It's an Alan Rickman kind of day. I wish I had a CD of Rickman lines that I could listen to. Sometimes you just need to hear that voice, y'know?
I'm stealing yet another photo from Mum's flickr page, because she takes great photos and I like to look at them to de-stress.
This is of barley in the house paddock (fence and garden on top-right). Yeah, that is her shadow you can see! It's autumn there. Isn't it beautiful? If I can't have spring here (yet), I'll indulge in some Tassie autumn viewing :D
I have about 9 assignments due over the next week and a half. They're all bullshit too. Well except for maybe one, which is also a group project. I really don't have time to go back to my practicum school to see the kids' presentations again (went on Monday), what with the 1 1/2 hour commute and all, but it is important to me.
And then there's Easter coming up, which means a get-together with Adam's family, and I'm worried I have an ear infection or something because my throat and inner ear has been itchy lately.
We were thinking of spending several days up at the cottage during the week I have off between OISE classes and the internship, but if it's snowing down here still the island is probably still ice-bound. Just really really need to get out of they city!
Oh, and I don't usually watch American Idol but we love that Adam guy, and last night he did a Stipes-like version of "Mad World", a Tears For Fears song that was used on Donnie Darko - I love both versions and it gave me chills hearing Adam sing it last night. Well done :) And since it doesn't take long at all for this stuff to hit YouTube, I thought I'd include it (sadly, it is from the AI podcast so it's covered in annoying crap, but still):
