We should get jerseys, cause we make a good team.
But, yours would look better than mine, cause you're outta my league.
And I know that it's so cliché to tell you that every day
I spend with you is a new best day of my life.
Everyone watching us just turns away with disgust.
It's jealously; they can see that we've got it going on.
Eunhyuk always had such a fascination with Donghae, ever since he had met the kid. It’s safe to say that this is mainly the reason they had become such close friends. Very soon, he found himself in love with Donghae, and everything about him. He loved the way that Donghae still acted like a child. He loved the boy’s superstitions about aliens and ghosts and such. He loved that they shared a passion for dancing. He loved how Donghae would wake him up every morning, sliding into his bed and wrapping his arms around him. Even if it was only a friendship, it was such a strong one. Everyone in the group envied them. And it wasn’t too long after Eunhyuk realized these things that he sat Donghae down and told him, who, in turn, complied with the same response.
And I'm racking my brain for a new improved way
To let you know you’re more to me than what I know how to say.
You're okay with the way this is going to be,

Donghae latched onto Eunhyuk the first day they met. Even though Eunhyuk was cold to him at first, he was infatuated with the older boy. When they had dance practice, he would sit and envy the other’s incredible dancing abilities. When they started recording, he was jealous of how smoothly he could rap. The two soon grew close. Donghae liked Eunhyuk more than anyone else, simply because Eunhyuk liked him too. When Donghae would ramble on about aliens and make up completely ridiculous, childish stories, Eunhyuk would laugh and tell him he was adorable. And, when Donghae’s father passed away, it was Eunhyuk who would hold him when he was found crying in the bathroom at night. So, when Eunhyuk told him that he loved him, the only thing he could say was that he loved him too. But, it was more than that, even. Donghae literally felt that Eunhyuk was his other half. When they were together, he felt complete; content, like nothing in the entire universe could bring him down.
If anyone can make me a better person you could.

Both of them found it completely impossible to ignore each other on stage. Now, mind you this, they knew they couldn’t ever kiss. They would definitely lose their jobs in a heartbeat. So, when Donghae walked up behind Eunhyuk, while the said boy was rapping, and wrapped his arms around his waist, resting his chin on his shoulder, the crowd went way beyond the definition of insane. A few concerts later, they started hearing people in the crowd chanting the name “EunHae” over and over. And, anytime they showed affection to each other, the crowd, again, went crazy. The day after, they were both asked to stop in at the SM building to meet with their owner, Lee Sooman. This was it; they were gone.

Both boys gave each other a nervous glance. “We’re sorry sir… we’ll quit the whole EunHae stuff.” Donghae offered, voice quite and shaky with fear. “Just, please, don’t fire us… please.” Eunhyuk begged silently. “FIRE YOU?! WHY WOULD I DO THAT?!?!?” Sooman practically yelled, jumping up from his chair. They both looked up in confusion. “Aren’t you angry…?” Eunhyuk asked, puzzled. “Angry? No, no, no. Happy, very pleased, actually.” The owner said, sitting back down, pulling out some papers. “Look at this.” He said, handing each of them a few papers, “Ever since you two have started this affectionate stuff on stage, more albums have been bought and more concerts have been sold out.” They couldn’t believe what they were seeing. “And it wasn’t even my idea! You two are very clever kids! I knew I made the right choice with you two. I should make more ‘couples’…” Sooman started pondering to himself. Eunhyuk gave Donghae a knowing grin, entwining his fingers with Donghae’s under the table. Sooman didn’t know that it was so much more than just pleasing fans.

The company had been watching the internet for anything new, and thus KyuMin, KangTeuk, YeWook, YeWon, KyuHae, KiHae, HanChul, and so many others were born. It wasn’t until a few nights after the first Super Show, when they were sitting back in their dorm, did Leeteuk call a group meeting. All of the boys crowded into the living room. Donghae sat with Eunhyuk, holding his hand, not even realizing why everyone was giving them weird looks. “Okay…” Leeteuk spoke up, “I’m just curious… besides Eunhyuk and Donghae, who else’s fan pairing is also real?” Eunhyuk and Donghae’s eyes grew huge. “Hyung…” Donghae mumbled, glaring at Leeteuk. “Oh please, fishy, it’s quite obvious. All the affection on stage and backstage, the strange noises at night, you sneaking into Eunhyuk’s room all the time.” He rambled on, and only then did they realize just how obvious they had made things. “Anyhow, who else? This will just stay between us, promise? Because…” He stuttered for a moment, glancing back at a nervous Kangin, “… I’m in love with Kangin, and he loves me too.” Everyone gasped, except for Heechul. “Oh please! It’s not that big of a deal nor is it a shocker. Hasn’t anyone noticed Hannie and I?” The ‘princess’ scoffed, leaning over and pressing his lips to HanGeng’s, whose face grew red at the confession. “Kyuhyun…. I like you.” Sungmin spoke up, poking at the magnae, who smiled happily, whispering an, “I like you too, hyung.” And thus, the actual couples were revealed, and some even born.

So, as he glanced out at the crowd tonight, during the ending song of a Super Show 3 concert, he interlocked hands with Eunhyuk, who was standing next to him. Eunhyuk smiled at Donghae, and he didn’t even have to say it; Donghae just knew. “EunHae! EunHae! EunHae!” The crowd squealed again and again, over and over. Oh, if they only knew. It was so much more than fanfics written on the internet. It was more than the affection shown on stage. It was more than paparazzi photos in magazines. And, together, they walked off stage, never letting go of the other’s hand.
