two posts in one day?
truly? haha, messing up royally at lj. first i did the manual lj cutting thing using the rich text version... before being informed that that was probably what was screwing things up... haha! and THEN, i kept checking with the preview to see if it was working, and of course, as i later learned, YOU DON'T SEE THE LJ CUT IN THE PREVIEW if you're doing it right, ROFL!!! seriously, i think i ACTUALLY laughed so hard i fell off my seat, in between bouts of going 'hey! it's STILL not working!'
not over yet, though. because then i was also told that i could actually have lj do it for me, WITH A CONVENIENT LITTLE LJ-CUT BUTTON!! hahahahahaha!!!!!!!!!!! so, i used that thingie too, and before you know it, well, i have two cuts. it was pretty funny. course, i didn't figure that out right away, because EVERY time i checked to see what it looked like, AFTER i had hit 'save post', i was hitting the 'view entry' link, which showed me the post in its entirety, WITHOUT the cut... heh. so i edited the silly thing about 6 or 7 times. nope, not kidding! but now, i think i've got it. if y'all don't see any of this as you scroll down my page, that's what i was going for.
anyhow, i'm pretty happy, now that i know how to do this...
