today i started working at my temp job... what do i do all day? well, that's pretty easy. i call people. all day long. no, not telemarketing, although it's close. i'm pretty much reminding people to sign up for the night classes that they inquired about like two weeks, a month, a year ago. yeah.
i think i must have called about 200 people today, about. NO FUCKING JOKE. but it wasn't so bad, people were actually pretty nice, and some were downright grateful for the reminder.
in other news... i'm apparently not nearly as well-versed in computer stuff as i like to think. (ok, obviously, because this lj-cut thingie is beyond me) i mean, i thought i knew microsoft word pretty well, but apparently, i do not. had to do this questionnaire over the weekend that evaluated my knowledge of most things word, excel, and document creation, as well as computer-assisted-translation... and, well, i have to attend two of the six classes that help us get up to par. argh. i could totally learn all that stuff on my own! DUDE.

ETA. no i couldn't learn that stuff on my own. ask a friend of mine... she knows.
that's all i got for today, folks, except maybe, that i had a great weekend. i PLAYED AT THE BEACH in normandy, swam at a lake, and ate out at restaurants about a million times, and all of this with my best friend. life was good.
