portland!
This evening I have returned from a wonderful long weekend in Portland. It was absolutely amazing. Spending time and catching up with people I hadn't seen in years! So much fun with good people I care about. Just the right mix of one-on-one time, and big groups and small groups. With people I hadn't seen in three years. Oh man. I'm on a bit of a friends high. Friends are good. Vacation is good. Pirate themed indoor black lit mini golf is good.
Really, I have to go back to work and real life tomorrow? That sucks. The only real drawback was the ear infection I woke up with Friday morning (ran to the doctor in the middle of the day, she prescribed antibiotics but said I could still fly that night). But that's starting to clear.
I haven't had such an awesome weekend since...possibly not since I returned from NZ.
