I am tired tonight. Tom and I had a big fight for fun, since he was out late last night and we didn't get the opportunity. It sucked. At least we had a good kiss at the end, before he went up to sleep. And we both said I love you, which is also a step in the right direction. Sometimes I wonder why being adults and having adult relationships gotta be so hard, man. Can't we all just get along? Or something.
In better news - my dad called today and we chatted for over an hour. Nothing deep or earthshattering, just chit chat. Surprisingly a lot of which centered around "Duck Dynasty". Good thing we have Redneck Humor to fall back on. He did say, apropos of nothing, that he and his wife are having someone come in this winter and get to know their parrot so they can hopefully come to California early next year. I know, I know... trying not to hold my breath. But I would be over the moon if he did come out here. I've been wishing I could show him around. He'd love SF.
Tai went to a birthday party this morning for a couple of girls in his class. It was at 'the Circus Center' and all he talked about after was getting to go on the trapeze. Not a flying trapeze, though he saw that... a lower one, for kids. He also got to do some tumbling, but the trapeze was the high point. He fell asleep whispering, "trapezes trapezes" over and over to himself.
Miss M, not to be outdone, learned to crawl all the way upstairs, by herself. Now we just have to teach her to come back down without falling.
