I had trouble with a number of the Historical prompts; they were too specific for me, particularly since I'm a podficcer and I was looking for stories already written by other people that I could record.

Instead of 1920s and 1960s I'd rather see 50-year or 100-year spans like 18th century, 19th century, 1900-1950, etc.

Instead of WWI and WW2, I'd rather see just War (which would have allowed Vietnam, Korean, Spanish Civil War, US Civil War, Revolutionary War, and so on).

I'd also love to see Academic added to the Other list, since that would include both college students/grad students and professors.

I'd prefer to see "Hospital" changed to "Medical," again, broadening the playing field (rehab, physical therapy, massage therapy, etc).

Just personal preferences, but I figure there's no harm in speaking up. :-)

I also had trouble with some of the Historical prompts, and liked the suggestions for round 2 changes that phoenixofborg made here. I'd also add 'Imperialism' and 'Persecution' to that list, maybe changing 'Conservatism' to 'Conservatism/Persecution', and possibly change 'Pirates' to 'Piracy/High Seas' for more leeway. Maybe also add prompts akin to 'Exodus/Migration/Immigration', 'Good Old Days', 'Industry/Growth/Trade', 'Collapse/Disaster', 'Pre-War/Post-War', and possibly change 'Court Intrigue' to 'Court Intrigue/High Society'. Also, keep 'Prehistoric' from the original list ( ... )

First of all, I'm excited for Round Two!!! I LOVE most of the prompts--Vampires, Werewolves, Westerns, and In Space are some of my favorites. But I do have some suggestions.

Some thoughts on new prompts:

* Others: Spies/Secret Agent :D
* Fantasy and Supernatural: Magical (to broaden the Witches and Wizard category)
* I second the above poster's idea of Other: Harlequin Romance

Some thoughts on renaming/combining:

* More general Historical prompts (i.e. War in stead of Napoleonic Europe or WWII)
* Crossovers/Fusions instead of just Crossovers
* Police/Detectives combined into one prompt
* Other: Pirates instead of Historical: Pirates (to allow space pirates, etc.)
* Maybe combine Mutants/Superpowers (though mutants don't technically have to have superpowers...)
* Combine Utopia/Dystopia maybe? Maybe I just don't like the Utopia prompt, lol.

I would suggest that some individuals need more than three vetoes and shouldn't necessarily have to go into detail with a mod as to why they need them. Perhaps five is a fairer number to start with.

Thank you for picking up and running AU_Bingo, even though I didn't manage to finish in time (or get a full bingo, thank goodness for the Amnesty Period), I had so much fun writing these AU versions of my favourite characters.
