I'm baaack :)
Hey everyone. I'm back from Hereford after the most wonderful time. I feel so relaxed! A week away with 4 old friends knitting and talking and drinking and eating and hiking and shopping and sight-seeing was clearly just the ticket. We stayed in a lovely place, too. You know I described it as a cottage in my last post? Well, not so much. It was actually a five bedroom house called Shelwick Court with hoardes of bunnies in the back garden and 2 horses in the field just behind. We had a huge hall with a vaulted roof for knitting in too - it was really cool :) In fact it was so cool that we've already decided that we're going to do it again next year. I am truly blessed to have such friends.
In other exciting news I have finally got around to getting myself a cleaner! Her name is Margaret, she's Polish and she's an absolute whirlwind. My house is cleaner than it has been in months and it just feels wonderful. It's so nice not to be trying to relax while mentally making a list of chores that I really should be doing. And she's coming every Friday from now on, so I'll have a lovely clean house for the weekends. Hooray!
