A beard. Really.

I mean, of all the things they could grant me with, I'm stuck with a beard. I'm not saying that I mind too much, but I like being able to get rid of facial hair. I spent a few months as a human not too long ago, and it meant ... shaving, and trying to make it not obvious. This, however, doesn't really allow for that. I'm not gonna complain, but I will say that my face wasn't really made for facial hair. Maybe some other guy could pull it off, but me, Angel? Not a chance.

That said: If you are a vampire here, do you have the whole "doesn't grow hair, no facial hair" policy? It's nothing like walking in sunlight or having an issue with holy objects, but you can't blame me for being curious. The occasion calls for it.

... And it's a good shift in curses. I'd rather a temporary beard than firestarting, cannibalism, and annoying, randomly interrupting bears. The first two were a problem, but the last one-well, I commend the person who captured that thing.

I've decided that in order to get things moving, we need to pinpoint threads in the City that aren't the deities. There isn't much we can do about them.

Gabriel Grey/Sylar: Arguably, less of an immediate threat to ours since Faith left, but with the number of individuals who know how to handle him gone from the City, I think it might be wise to continue to keep an eye on him. He passes himself as a watchmaker, and someone with a normal business. However, the true threat lies in his sociopathic behavior and his way of acquiring powers. There are many individuals with powers here, so I would not put it past him to snap. He acts like a law-abiding citizen, but we know otherwise. I do know that he's a distinct threat in this place.

Grell: Someone I'm glad is willing to announce violent activities that they've done. Gender is ... admittedly unclear, but what's important is that Grell told me that they have victims. Here, in the City. It's something to look into, especially if Grell chooses to strike again.

Unknown Name: Calls humans sheep for not eating one another. It's important to note that she was affected by the curse, but I think there is a valid threat here. She's someone to keep an eye on.

There are others, of course. I wouldn't be surprised if by digging a little, we could uncover many threatening-actually threatening-individuals. There was that bombing not too long ago, and that time when someone showed up on the network literally dead.

It won't be much of a well-paying start, but we need to get ourselves back out there again without the name of X-Factor attached.
