Wow, today has been so politically-driven for me! During the afternoon I went to the post office to mail off my overseas ballot. Only eleven more days until the election. All Canadians, PLEASE VOTE! It's so important!

My own birth country is trying to keep me out. The Nagoya Chinese consulate said they won't handle any visas for non-Japanese nationals, a new policy seemingly installed sometime this year.
