SUMMARY: The Freelancers decide it's high time they figure out what the rest of this ship looks like. (Plus, they'd really like to find their armor, thanks so much.)
It had been surmised from the responses they'd gotten to Carolina's address of the network that they were, so far, the only members of the Project that had found themselves on this ship. And while it was just a little disheartening, there was no point in just standing around, waiting for things to be figured out for them. North wasn't exactly the type of guy to stand around and let everything come to light on its own - that particular bit of behavior hadn't been a part of his training. He was useless if he was standing still, and that hadn't been a part of his training, either.
They needed to see what the rest of the ship looked like. Needed to trace out every corner for themselves. And .. quite possibly find their armor. He knew Carolina didn't feel right without it, and if he thought about it for more than a couple of minutes, he would have realized that he didn't, either. Since joining Project Freelancer, he hadn't exactly spent much time out of the armor the Director had supplied him with, and it felt .. weird being without it now.
North waited just outside the door marked with the other Freelancer's number, peering down at his own number that adorned his forearm. He was still trying to figure out just what the significance of it was - whether it was simply a random set of digits chosen for him upon his arrival, or if it actually meant something. It was going to bother him until he figured it out.
These were the types of things that sifted through his thoughts when he found himself standing idle. It was best that they get moving soon.
