The roofers finished up yesterday.

Both the house and the two-car garage were stripped down to the wood. They put on new tar paper, eaveguards, and 35-year shingles. They replaced the plumbing stack, and added four roof vents to the house. They also added two roof vents to the garage. (Before, we had no vents ( Read more... )

It's dropping down to -12C today. We don't actually have a high today: there was an asterisk next to our forecasted temperature. Tomorrow our high is supposed to be -17C. Normal for this time of year is about -3C ( Read more... )
