It's about time I caught up with what's currently going on in the world of games. Apart from the big name contenders I feel out of the loop.
- So The Darkness 2 is happening. I didn't expect that... huh. I'm up for another Darkness game, I didn't mind the angst overload that was the first game because when I used to read the comic I would flip-flop between thinking oh that's cool haha and ffs can everyone in this comic shut up and stop saying 'frickin' so much because I know how badly you want your characters to say fuck, Top Cow. But yeah, it wouldn't hurt to tone down the angst for this sequel.
- Has anyone tried the Dragon Age 2 demo yet? Impressions if you have? I've been hearing some mixed reactions so far. Also I really need to pick up the pace with Origins, I keep fucking around with side quests and buying and selling stuff and I spend way too much time in the menu and not actually progressing through the game.
- Gamers whining about gamers whining for a difficulty patch in Catherine. Talk of difficulty always seems to bring out the Internet Tough Guys, I don't get it. Now I hope Catherine doesn't get localized hahahahaAAHHHahaha no wait I'm kind of curious about the game too. Worst case scenario would be if it gets an NTSC version but no PAL release, because some companies still like to pull that shit.
- Another 30 second teaser for Alice: Madness Returns. I liked the first game well enough so I'm mildly interested in this.
- I'm tempted to play Morrowind after looking at some Skyrim screens, but talk about a game that hasn't aged well. I have a high tolerance for bad graphics though so it might happen.
