It's about time I caught up with what's currently going on in the world of games. Apart from the big name contenders I feel out of the loop

Apparently there's a lot more action this time, and acid pissing demons. That sounds like it's already an improvement. As long as there's no infinite respawning on the last level I'll be a-okay with the game.
I'm tempted to play Morrowind after looking at some Skyrim screens, but talk about a game that hasn't aged well. I have a high tolerance for bad graphics though so it might happen. I have that exact same problem. I keep looking at screens of Morrowind and cringing like mad. Oblivion is a bit better in terms of graphics, but the storyline is pretty bad, tbqh. The sidequests are great, though, so it makes up for it. I have about 30GB of mods installed for Oblivion that really enhance the graphics and gameplay, but even vanilla Oblivion is passably fun to play. I suppose Morrowind also has mods to enhance its graphics, but I imagine that's a task you wouldn't want to undertake. It took about two days and a lot of guesswork for me to get all my Oblivion mods installed the way I wanted them

Oh wait, I thought you said you had a LOW tolerance. Nevermind then.
I can usually stomach old games if they have graphics that aren't horrible. I mean I don't need FF-style graphics or anything. But Morrowind is just blocky and shiny and terrible. Looks a lot like a PS1 game, which is (I think) appropriate for its release date.
Whenever I look at Morrowind I wonder if the graphics would cause me to get lost in the game.
Oh geez I didn't even think about Awakening. I was thinking about getting that but I might be burnt out on DA by the time I finish it, even though DA2's out in a few weeks.
The best thing about it is it plays in the 'game's' (it's not really a game it's a thing where you eat and shit out stuff) instruction menu and you can eat all the text... yep.
Yeah I'm a little wary about the new game, I'm hoping to see some gameplay soon. I admit I was a little disappointed when I saw that the stop motion trailer wasn't an official trailer. I would have been all over a atop motion Alice game.

I didn't know the demo was out for DA2. Hm.
