Dissidia is about Golbez getting up in everyone's business

Since Duocecim's coming out over here soon here's a few things I liked about the first Dissidia:

- Emperor Mateus' voice. It's wonderfully snooty.
- Golbez's voice and specifically his opening line if you're fighting him as Sephiroth "You don't even try to understand.". The way he delivers it, it's like they're a couple having a fight and Golbez got his feelings hurt. Heh.
- Everyone picking on Kuja, and Ultimecia being such a BITCH to him.
- Most of Bartz and Kefka's dialogue. Such a welcome addition amongst the many characters that are taking things a little too seriously. Dissidia in general could do with an angst downgrade, it's a crossover game for fuck's sake. Take a page out of Capcom's book or something.

Speaking of Capcom and angst thank god for Shinji Mikami and Suda51 because I've been waiting for a horror game that's not so serious:

HESITANT YES and I'm aware that it's not a Capcom game. However I see a motorcycle so that means a potentially tedious level with terrible controls since Suda51's involved. I'm a little unsure about the dead girlfriend too, it just had to be white lingerie didn't it. But her creepy face is a plus. Also

I like the look of the protagonist, actually just in this screenshot. It's the shape of his face at that angle. Can't say the same about his voice though, it's kind of horrible.

horror games, dissidia
