It seems a little, I dunno, ironic to see this attempt at celebrating LJ just when people are defecting from it in droves. Based on which, I am at least entertaining the possibility of shifting more over to Dreamwidth at some point, myself, and am definitely going to try harder to keep my LJ-to-DW imports current. For anyone who cares, I do have a DW account. I'm astrogirl over there, without the 2. (Because on Dreamwidth, I'm Number One! Go, me!) I just use it to back up my LJ whenever I actually remember to. But it's there.

I know, I'm being super-spammy at the moment. But I figured I should say that, no, I'm not running screaming from LJ in the near future, wherever the servers may be located at the moment. I just got my first Livejournal like. I'd kind of forgotten that was a thing. I... have no idea what to do with that, but thank you, anonymous person who liked a post I made.

I gotta say, I am getting really, really tired of not being able to use anything but my default icon on LJ comments. It's looking to me now like the icon selection is working OK on the default-style comments pages, but not on customized pages. I think. If they don't get this thing fixed soon, I might have to break down and switch to the default ( Read more... )

Huh. Why does LJ keep using my default icon on comments today, even when I pick a different one? Is this just me? Does LJ hate me? What did I ever do to it?
