So about a month and a half ago I signed myself up to give a science talk here at the institute. I did it because I thought it'd be a good kick in the proverbial pants to get as much science done as possible. Christmas was good with my parents out here in LA. Whilst my dad claims that they did a lot of eating here, I didn't think it was that bad- it was just that I made dinner for both Christmas Eve and Christmas. I really do. Spitzer proposals are due next week and I now am having the experience of writing and submitting them rather than answering all the Helpdesk tickets about how people can't get them submitted.
