Um. Maybe I missed something else, too? (speakin of errata?) when Dean took the Hufflepuffs to Glasgow (oh, so freaking awesome! a *conference center* Vending machines! (imagine if they went to Japan... *yanks brain back into gear) there was 62 Hufflepuffs. But when they all piled out of the Impala (Hufflepuff to the rescue! *Jinxing* aurors!) there was 72 of them - what happened to the 10 who didn't go to Glasgow...?

~Initial Auror Training Evaluation 2009~

It was - unprecedented.

The increased amount of Gryffindors - yes, that had been expected. Even the Slytherins joining had been - not altogether a surprise.

But - Hufflepuffs?

Hufflepuffs that consistently - embarrassingly consistently - outperformed everyone else. *Especially* when grouped together.

...Maybe their teacher could be persuaded to do some special training classes...

Sadly, though - *scuffs feet* I have not read HP: DH (actually, I haven't even read HP: HBP) so, um. If I were to try to get any more detailed, I'm pretty sure I'd violate cannon horrendously and throw people violently out of whatever I tried to do. Which, um. Is why the thing is so short and vague to the point that I don't even use a name for the evaluator.

I just - on my *mumble*-th read through I kept wondering what the Slytherns were *thinking* and then it was pretty damn amazing the way they all banded together to defend Sam (also wondering how long that Slytherin girl was nudging Dean before he figured it out...); wonder if they thought that when Dean came charging in - if they were worried that he was going to tear Sam down further (hence the hesitation before letting Dean get to Sam) and if so, what they thought when he defended Sam - body and words - even though he was pretty much failing as a wizard and -
