Bioware is working on KotOR MMO

I just finished Jade Empire and have to say that Bioware games just have the tightest, most compelling storylines that I have played in RPGs. I have no idea if they can translate that to an MMO setting, but if they can, it's probably going to be awesome.

I just completed one of the most charming games I have played in a long time: Knytt Stories. It's a platform game, but totally minimalistic. Soothing music, pretty graphics but very plain. Simple, yet fun. I don't really play a lot of games anymore outside of WoW, but even if you're not that into games, it's just fun to putter around in this one ( Read more... )

The Escapist had an interesting article on German boardgames today. I had never looked at it that way, but it's pretty interesting. It mentions the Game of the Year award, and I guess that's really a mark of excellence. We recently bought Thurn und Taxis, last year's Game of the Year, and that's really a fun, interesting game. Yeah, the Infocom game. With a very cool interface. Now if I didn't suck so much at Infocom adventures, I'd play it straight through. :)

Today is January 7, 2006, which makes it the third anniversary of Cinna and I speaking our marriage vows (even if we weren't legally married then). My faith in running instances in WoW has been restored, thanks to ironman and liakela and a priest called Sunday. There are actually people out there who understand teamwork, know how to play their classes and let others play their classes as intended. Sadly, I did not get the shield, but I shall survive.
