I have an INTERVIEW! ...
... next Tuesday for a new job -- YAY! Anything that gets me out of a certain "K" themed retail chain is good. And that I got an interview when getting a job so close to the holidays is damned near impossible is just cool. So, so happy and excited about this.
The job is at Lane Bryant, which is cool because it's one of my favorite stores, it's clean and the clientelle is a sight better than the stressed-out penny pinching families (me and mine included) and thieving, spun-out tweekers we get around here. The position's basically for holiday/seasonal work but if they like me they'll keep me on permanently *crosses fingers* Plus 40% employee discount off of clothes I couldn't normally afford ... yay =)
If I *do* get the job, I'm going to be saving to go back to school and finish work towards my degree cos damnit, I miss school. I miss learning. I miss cramming for that cut-throat final exam while stuffing my face with half-cold pizza *le sigh* And I want something to show for it -- I want my degree.
Course, this is only an interview so I can't get my hopes up too much. Still, it's more than I've had in a while, and that's definitely something.
