I really wanna work at this shelter this summer
so far i am looking at three volunteer opportunities
Canine Companion/Feline Friends : All dogs, puppies, cats, and kittens need regular exercise and socialization, and some of our shelter animals have special requirements. Volunteers give the shelter dogs and cats the extra TLC they deserve.
Kennel Assistant : Provide the staff with important behind the scenes help cleaning the Animal Care and Adoption Centers. Assist staff in preparing animals for adoption (i.e. holding animal during nail trims, vaccines, etc.).
and (if my parents would let me):
Foster Parent : The Foster Care Program offers volunteers an opportunity to take orphaned, sick or injured animals into their homes and care for them until they are mature or healthy enough to be adopted.
